Brian M. Fraley, Owner & Chief Strategist
I launched Fraley AEC Solutions in 2014 with more than 20 years of marketing communications experience and a passion for the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. From the jobsite to the board room, I built expertise in marketing, public relations, editorial, and business development, while also learning the nuts and bolts of the built environment. Fraley Construction Marketing was born in January 2017 in a move to streamline the focus to my area of core expertise.
Construction is in my blood. As the product of a Philadelphia heavy highway construction family, my intrigue with entrepreneurship and all things construction dates back to childhood memories of heavy iron and stories from the rough and tumble early 1900s. My professional journey started in junior high school while working part-time at my father’s construction advertising and communications agency. It was there that I connected natural marketing, writing, storytelling, and creative abilities with a passion for the built environment.
My knowledge of marketing communications within the construction industry was built over the next two decades at a regional construction trade publication, a statewide transportation construction trade association, and a civil engineering and surveying firm. Identifying and building up untapped and underserved segments of the market has been a theme throughout my career. My 360-degree understanding of the construction industry was formed by visiting hundreds of construction jobsites and having the good fortune of working alongside of legendary AEC leaders throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region.

I also manage the Construction Marketing Straight Talker Blog and Construction Marketing InSITE Newsletter. My free time is spent with family, writing, woodworking, cycling, golfing, or studying business, marketing, infrastructure, and investing.

And most importantly, I believe that effective marketing is based on understanding the market served, which is the foundation upon which Fraley is built.
